What's a HOPERA?

Have you accidentally landed on our page and found yourself wondering “what on earth is HOPERA?”

Here at HOPERA we are all about empowering local artists and craft businesses by putting on quality, casual performances where Houstonians love to drink. Check out this video and others on our YouTube Channel for some behind-the-scenes magic!

Sprechen ze Deutsch?!

Come Get COZY!

Our second HOPERA of the year, “Cozy,” a modern albeit silly adaptation of Mozart’s Così fan tutte, juxtaposes certified classical bops against the background of a island-themed dating show you may find familiar!

Join us to experience a splash of silliness May 14th and 16th at Equal Parts!

Who We Are at HOPERA

CRAFT DRINK + CRAFT MUSIC = PERFECT HARMONY

Here at HOPERA we are all about empowering local artists and craft businesses by putting on quality, casual performances where Houstonians love to drink. We collaborate with the local craft beverage community to create original concerts and operas that come to you! We believe that opera is for anyone, that there’s an opera for everyone, and that it’s our job to show Houston that opera doesn’t fit into a tiny stuffy box.

The Year We Were Founded
